anatol lis was born the night of march 3rd into a family of three. unfortunately, the family wasn’t very nurturing. growing up was always a struggle. he always lived in his older brother’s shadow. no matter what he did he couldn’t seem to please his parents. the more he failed he would get abused quite frequently throughout these times. it gave anatol extreme anxiety. when he was around 10, the family had moved to america. anatol never got an explanation- they just uprooted everything and left.he was a very intellectual kid, yet was a bit of a delinquent. at around 14 he would often sneak out, stealing cigarettes or alcohol, alcohol being one of the main things that could numb the thoughts in his brain. otherwise he’d go into a downward spiral. he’d get in trouble, being brought back by the cops, his family once again ashamed of him being their son. the abuse worsening.by the time antol was around 16 years old, he finally snapped one night, after getting slapped around a bit by his father, he had ran up to his room, locking himself inside. he broke a mirror, and despite the pain his fist felt, he had sat on the floor and would use one of the larger shards from the mirror to cut his wrists…there was something about having that type of control that gave him a sense of release. some sort of calmness…it was sick how it helped him feel even a bit better, even if he would be sobbing. however it didn’t stop him from sneaking out. he got hooked on drugs pretty quick, which was another form of escapism for him. when he went into school, he was quiet and reserved. he got picked on quite often however, and so he’d get into fist fights often. despite the fights, his grades remained strong, despite ditching most days.during this time, anatol found a new hobby, one that was genuinely fairly healthy. he still did drugs, but he would drown himself in reading.when anatol turned 17, it was when he found out his sexuality. ontop of the abuse when he was 16- he was very confused, liking girls yet also liking guys, and he’d do research. he had found out by 17 he was pansexual. he despised the fact the he couldn’t tell anyone in his family. not even his own brother who seemed to forget he even existed. he felt alone. always.

.• anatol tends to get severe nightmares from the abuse he endures from his father. he rarely gets enough sleep and tends to act out, sneaking out to calm himself.•. anatol immerses himself into reading, it’s one of the only things he has besides his computer..• anatol usually will use drugs to numb his mind, trying not to remember his childhood.•. some nights, anatol will listen to music on his computer, researching for possible job opportunities so he can move, even look for some apartments..• anatol sometimes has urges to reach out to his brother but doesn’t.•. anatol struggles with an eating disorder due to all of the harassment and bullying, along with his depression. he has very bad days sometimes..• anatol refuses to go to sleep most nights just because of the nightmares and anxiety.•. when anatol gets anxious enough about a situation, he will find some way to hurt himself. whether that’s burning himself or cutting. it can get severe..• anatol can sometimes have anxiety attacks in the private of his own room, trying to keep himself as composed as he can afterwards.•. anatol has a fairly short temper. whenever someone messes with him he will immediately snap..• aside from alcohol, anatol also tends to smoke to help cope with his stress and depression.•. when something reminds him of his past trauma or even current trauma from his father, it sometimes causes him to disassociate fairly heavily..• anatol hates his older brother. he’s felt abandoned and betrayed. he holds a lot of resentment against him, how he’s endured all this pain but his brother hasn’t.•. his parents speak polish frequently at home. but anatol is fluent in polish and english. (it causes him to have an accent when speaking english).• his parents are very well respected in the community, and so they will drag anatol around to formal events sometimes.
